Should Cursive Writing Be Taught In Schools Or Is It On No Value Because Of Computers?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Regardless of computers, people who have "nice" handwriting will always gain a measure of respect not afforded people who don't. A few can even make a career of calligraphy and/or font design.

The teaching method should be consistent, so a child has a chance of learning and practicing in a consistent way. My own children suffered from changing styles in the schools they attended, so did not learn any of the various methods well enough to become good at handwriting.
