Job production is a type of production system in which the entire process or the entire job is carried out by one or a group of workers. The work is done according to the specific requirements put forward by the customer. Examples include hairdressers and architects etc. The jobs can be simple or complex as well. The worker brings equipment to the product, completes the job and then moves out. All the jobs done may be different or similar; there is no restriction in this regard. It has a fixed layout. One job is performed at one time. Examples include tailoring, submarine manufacturing and construction projects.
