Final Fantasy- The Spirits Within is a famous science fiction movie by Hironobu Sakaguchi, who is also the creator of the Final Fantasy series of RPGs. The movie was released on July 13, 2001 in the United States. At the end of the movie Gray sacrifices his life to distribute Aki's wave by using his body to transmit it to the Phantom world spirit. And the last scene shows Aki who is holding Gray's dead body and is looking onto the new liberated world.
