My advice is don't give this trouble maker any reason or proof that your no better. Don't sink to their level... Make it clear to them that they wont succeed in ruining your relationship in the most polite way you can possibly say it..it gets to them more! And have a serious chat with your partner about the situation too...so you know that you both are on the same side. Good luck x
