How Do You Get A Vinyl Record Onto CD?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To record vinyl record onto CD, you will require a PC with a sound card and a CD writer, a turntable, a cable or a recordable lead with 2 plugs (3.5 mm jack). You also need a CD burning software and a recording software to support the transfer from vinyl records to MP3 and then eventually on to a CD device. If you have all the things, you are ready to get your vinyl records onto a CD.

You cannot directly put the music from your vinyl records onto the CDs, you will first have to change them to MP3 format and them burn a CD using the CD burner and the CD burning software. Connect the turntable with your pc with the help of the cable and start playing the record on the turn table. On the recording software on your PC, click record and the files will be in MP3 format after the record stops playing.
