Why Is It That Some People On Here Get Mad When You Answer An Opinionated Question?

I hate that, and when they try to do that, I tell them that they should have been prepared for people that don't think the same way. Everyone is different, you can't tell how someone is going to reply to your reply. That is so unpredictable. But, it comes with being on the site. Hope this helps, good luck blurting peacefully.

I totally agree with you Nicegirl , those questions are asking for opinions and that is a good thing , not a bad thing  

I guess some people expect others to think the way they do and agree with them. I have noticed that when the asker doesn't have a come back or an intelligent response to  the answer then that is usually when they get mad.But I feel that if a person can't handle  another's answer then they shouldn't be asking questions.

I think it may be a bit of narcissitc behaviour. A couple I've seen here do it just to cause contention. I no longer answer their Qs.

I totally agree. If someone asks for an opinion it is ridiculous for someone to get mad when you give them your honest opinion.
