What Is A Home Remedy To Kill Fleas Indoor And Out?

Answer Question

The best way to kill fleas inside and outside. Go to stores like Walmart, and buy SevenDust pesticide. It comes in a powder form and is in a bag in the lawn and garden section. Buy a flour sifter (a simple one, not the turn the knob kind) and put the powder in the sifter. Start in one corner of every room tapping the powder all over the carpets, floors, and even on your pets directly getting the powder everywhere, and move furniture. This will make a mess, BUT IT WORKS. I didn't do couches or chairs, but enough of the dust in the air landed on them to work. I waited a day, then vaccumed the main areas "lightly" and left the powder in unseen areas for a week and dusted everything 1 week from the treatment so those areas to could kill unseen fleas. I then vacuumed, cleaning out vacuum each time, in case I got live fleas in it. I also went outside and did the same thing with the powder at least 5 feet around my apartment. If you have yard do the whole yard if possible. Make sure to give animals a flea bath using Dawn dishsoap once a week. It kills fleas fast and is safe. "Dawn dishsoap has been rescuing wildlife for over 25 years" stated on their bottles so you know it's safe to use. And buy a flea comb, to get the little buggers around the face and eyes the soap can't get to. Another step is buy the flea drops for your pets. Simply pour it on the back of the neck and your done, lasts 4 weeks to 6 weeks. If you still see fleas use the powder again and leave it on longer. You have to wait for eggs to hatch, and they can be anywhere, so moving everything is important and vacuuming them up makes 1000's less than what you would have doing nothing. Should see results quickly if you do entire home and the above steps.

So here's a recap, bathe animals with Dawn, SevenDust home, use Flea drops. Sounds like alot of work, but it works and really isn't that hard to do. Also, prevents tapeworms, by killing the source, the FLEAS. Also kills roaches if you have roach problems.

If you want try doing only the main trouble areas, use less and leave it on the carpets (novaccuming) and 1x a week after vacuuming use again to refresh it. Bathe animals once a week and use the drops on them once. Should see less fleas but not get rid of them completely this way.

READ THE SEVENDUST BAG, TELLS YOU HOW TO USE ON CARPETS AND PETS INDOORS AND OUTDOORS IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME.

P.S. I always SevenDust a new place before I move in with my stuff, saves time and unseen problems down the road from fleas and roaches and other bugs.
