In The Game Of Botticelli, How Should I Answer This Question?

I was playing a game of Botticelli. My person that others were trying to guess was a fictional TV series character. A player asked me if this person they were tyring to guess was dead. Well, the actor was dead, but the character himself never died on the show. But the series had ended/been discontinued--does that count? How do I answer? According to the rules of the game, should I answer this question with "yes" or "no"?

If the 'person' they were trying to guess was dead then you should answer it yes.  If it was the 'character' they were trying to guess then you should answer no.  I hope it helps.

The answer has to be "no", because it's the character, not the actor they're trying to guess.

If the TV series ended, doesn't that also constitue the end of the character?

Picky, picky, picky. No. You'll confuse the players.
