What Wisdom Does Socrates Offer To The Young Athenians?

Socrates was a pioneer who to put forth the idea of scientific enquiry and it is this method of his that is the basis of modern enquiring mind. As he developed the idea of method of enquiry, the method itself is named after him and is called Socratic Method.
       
The importance of this theory can be said to be immense for a young person whether he is from Athens or from any other part of the world. We all know that an enquiring mind is what leads to several innovative products and services and when a young person is imbued with the quality of being enquiring, he can be of extreme importance for the modern generation. What his methods suggests is that if we ask a question and when we find the answer of it, we just not get satisfied with the answer but also try to find out how it is being done and it is this theory that lead to the coming up another aspect of the phenomenon which is hitherto unheard of.
