Regression analysis is basically a mock-up relationship between variables. These models generally help to determine the amount of those relationships. These models are generally used to make any kind of predictions. These models generally show the relationship between response variables and the predictors. The different types of regression models are simple and multiple linear regression, non-linear regression models and some other models.

Simple linear regression refers to a kind of regression on two variables while multiple regressions are based on more than two variables. The other models comprise of Poisson regression, supervised learning, and unit-weighted regression.
