What In The World Should I Do?

I was planning to buy my bf a ipod shuffle for Christmas. The only problem is that I'm not so sure I should anymore. Since I'm not allowed to get a job, and I don't get an allowance I have to save every little penny I get. My bf has a job and in 2 weeks saved $300 while I only have $80. What if he wanted a better ipod? I can't afford the other ipods and I want to get him the best gift I can get him. Should I try for something else?

The value of a gift can not be determined by its economic value. You might buy him an aeroplane and he might want a better model. The thing is that you need to know what actually makes him happy. You don't have enough money for an ipod, that's fine, try something else. Something that would be truly dear to him. Like his favorite perfume, his favorite book, a DVD of his favorite movie, a perfectly planned Christmas dinner, even a bouquet. So its all up to you and how well you know him.
