Organizational behavior is a specialized course offered to BBA and MBA students. The course gives a complete idea about the culture, individuals, human resource, management issues, organizational structure, challenges involved in leadership, employee performance etc. Hence it takes into account comprehensive information about how people and individuals work in an organization. It takes in to consideration the overall group behavior which determines group cohesiveness and unity in the organization. Various theories are taught such as motivation theories such as Maslow hierarchy of needs, theory X & Y, ERG theory, prison break theory, concept such as job satisfaction, job productivity and other theories are important part of the organizational behavior.
