My Calves Hurt After A Bike Ride Of Around 20 Miles Or So. Can I Do Something To Prevent This?

    Don't ride your bike so far...  Just kidding...  There are exercises that help shin splints (if that is the problem).  

    Sit down, extend your legs in front of you so that your knees are not bent.  Point your toes toward straight out (like a ballerina) then point your toes up as far as you can.  Do this over and over.  

    OR

    Stand up on you tippy toes and then go down.  Repeat over and over.

      Do you normally exercise? Warm up? Your pain is problem latic acid build-up something your body produces with activity. If you over work without warm up or building up your increased exercise then this acid will store instead og breaking down, therefore PAIN!!!

      It will go away, but until then stretch and try to keep active!
