How Do You Teach Your Child To Sit?

A child will be able to sit after he learns to walk. The crawling and walking process has to be taught first. Walking is possible after the child is a year old. For easy teaching, get a few chairs meant for kids. They should easily be able to climb onto the chair and sit. Take a small chair and keep it near the child. Let the child get familiar with it. Let it understand what it is. Then pick up your child and place him on the chair. The child should enjoy sitting on the chair. He should be able to feel relaxed on it. Do this a couple of times, so that he understands how to get on it. Make sure you are around him when he gets on the chair, as he may also fall from it.
