Could you explain how you arrived at this? I am learning math and would like to see the process.

At the most basic level, the distance conversion I remember is
      2.54 centimeters = 1 inch.
This is an international standard definition. It is exact. Then,
      12 inches = (12 in)*(2.54 cm/in) = 30.48 cm = .3048 meters, exactly.
      So,
      1 yard = 3 feet*(.3048 m/ft) = 3*.3048 m = .9144 m, exactly
      Then, 100 yards = (100 yd)*(.9144 m/yd) = 91.44 m
      _____
Some people have trouble with the SI Prefixes, centi, kilo, milli, etc. These are just a convenient way to put the decimal point where you want it. A centimeter, for example, is 1/100 of a meter, so 30 cm = 30/100 m = .30 m
