Can An Employer Ask Another Employer About An Employee?

Yes they can especially if you have given them permission when you did your application there is usually the question asking the name of your previous supervisor and can they contact them and you can go yes or no,that does not mean that they won't but you have a better chance at a legal fight if you have ask that they do not contact previous supervisors or jobs,that is why it is good to make a copy of your application after you have filled it out before submitting it.......good luck
