What Is The Best Way To Crack Walnuts To Make Candied Walnuts?
The ideal way of making candied walnuts is to use full halves of the nut. If there is a technique to do this I want to know.

It is pretty difficult to crack walnuts into halves without spoiling them. However, here is a tip that mostly works. Keeping walnuts at a humid and cold place will let you crack them in halves more easily. Keeping them at a dry place spoils the shells. So before cracking them try to keep them at a humid place, then use a light hammer to crack them.
