I was diagnosed with IBS last year. I also have symptoms of ovarian cancer - most of them. I think I should go back to my GYN to get screened. My last Pap and ultrasound was normal. He only told me I had a small cyst on my left ovary. Since then I have had the lower back pain and gas. Fatigue is usually everyday.
Bowel movements had become irregular. They have become more normal now, but the gas has started. Last year I started having painful cramps before menstruation and increased fluid from my vagina. My doctor said that as you get older your body goes through these changes.
After reading these comments and the symptoms, I think I better press the issue further with my doctor and GYN.

Irritable bowel syndrome is a form of a nerve condition, there would be differences in the symptoms between the two.
