    The requirements for a real estate broker license in Ohio are as follows: One should have had completed all the necessary educational requirements needed to become a salesperson. The real estate course needs to have been completed at a college which gives the student a degree in at least a two year course. The two hundred and forty hours of real estate courses can be inclusive in the two years of college.

    All those who apply for a real estate broker's license need to have been licensed as either a broker, or a salesperson for a minimum of 2 years, including working for 30 hours per week after the license application. Those applying must have finished 20 real estate dealings, or the equivalent experience that has been met by approval
