This Question Is Answered:
Our 7 Yr. Old Sheltie Had Tumor Removed 4 Months Ago. Cost $1000. Now It Is Back It. She Acts Like Normal. At What Point Should We Put Her To Sleep? Should We Use Pain Meds?
Cost prohibitive to treat our dog with full blown cancer surgery, chemo and radiation. Colon cancer usually spreads to other areas anyway from what we have been told. Our delema is do we do pain meds. To keep her comfortable for a few more months or put her down now?

I am  sad to say that it the humaine thing to do because it will spread I am going through the same thing.my mini dashound had a cancer lump removed and she has it back with many more this time.but mers are not bothering her.you can give him aspirin for the pain that will help and check with a vet and see how much to give her and how many times a day as it makes a difference on how much the dog weighs.  Best wishes.
