Hi I'm New. How Do You Earn The Points, And What Is The Points For?

Well, you are on the right track to getting points, you ask and answer questions. You can post debates and form groups to have discussions on subjects, that might or might not be of interest to you.
You get a point also for leaving a rating on an answer. There aren't any compensations for doing this, other than moving up in the ranks from baby blurter, all the way up to uber blurter.
On the home page to the right, scroll down to where it says "How to use Blurtit" You can click on there, from there you can learn a lot about blurtit. Hope this helps, good luck, and welcome.

I agree with above, you can also earn a certain amount of points daily by just logging into your account.
Ask questions, answer questions, take part in debates etc.
It is lots of fun :)

You can earn points for answering a question and rating answers and responding in a debate
You don't get anything for the points its just for fun
