I Need Home Remedies To Prevent Constipation For My Pets. Can You Help?

Answer Question

Talk to your veterinarian if your pets are having constipation problems.  Sometimes medical therapy is needed to help prevent recurrent constipation.  Lactulose is a common medication used to prevent and treat constipation--it needs to be used carefully with help from your veterinarian.
Increasing water intake will help with constipation.  Always have an ample supply of fresh water available.  For cats a circulating water fountain often encourages drinking.

Change the food to something higher in fiber make sure they are getting enough exercise and aren't constipated from a medical condition, adding bran to the food helps but all your pets shouldn't be constipated if so there is something you are doing wrong.
