Any Free Online Battle/story Type Games To Play With Other Online Opponents?

Well, Diablo 2 and starcraft are both free but you have to buy the game discs from a store. Diablo 2 is a level up your character of choice, choose stats and skills, then you can fight each other or join forces to do quests. Starcraft is a game where you start off with some units, you mine minerals and gas, then build your own army to destroy each other.

You don't have to pay to play online, and since they are made by the same company, you only need one user name and password to play them. Not a name and pass for each one separate.

I don't play it, but I heard World of Warcraft is good, but you have to pay to play it.

If you don't want to buy discs or anything then try runescape. Its an online game and lots of people play, but I never got into it. Just something to try.

There's a great free game called 'Regnum'. It was developed by a small company in Argentina, and the play on there is entirely free. Some special items can be purchased by 'real money', but these don't unbalance game play.

The game has 3 countries, and each country has a choice of 3 races. You develop your character 1st in your own country, and as they get stronger, you can use them in the wars that are fought between the countries. So you get player vs monster/quest, and also player vs other GROUPS of players!

One of the best parts about it, is that there is a generally very friendly interaction between people in the same nation.

Runescape is good... But Regnum is far better.
