Is Soy Milk Better For You ?

Soy milk is an incredible food.  It is the only one that contains complete protein.  One glass of soy is almost the equivalent of getting the protein of  a full steak, without the fat and calories.  As well, many people who are vegetarian suffer from protein deficiency which can (believe it or not ) lead to brain damage as without complete protein, the amounts of oxygen required by the brain are unable to get there.  Soy and other soy products are complete proteins and are so totally nutritious.  Cows milk, being what it is, does have a lot of vitamins and other stuff, but your body will only absorb about 10% of the calcium in a glass of milk.  So even though it contains a daily requirement, the body is unable to absorb.  With the addition of soy products in your diet, your digestive system is less compromised, and you are better able to process the nutrients it provides without the fear of becoming lactoce intolerant, or triggering allergies

They say it is, but I am stuck in my ways, I will stick to whole milk. I couldn't wait to drink it when we were older, because there were so many kids in my family, that my parents could only afford a little of that whole milk, mixed with powdered, it was terrible. Stick with whole or 2% milk.

For sure....its way better if you have cholesterol
