Enzyme warfare is simply how the enzymes fight against the pathogens in the body. They bring the metabolism out of the equilibrium to such an extent that the organism may die if the enzymes which fail are not replaced in time. There is also a curious example of this enzyme warfare in the plant kingdom. A plant grows in Africa with an appearance very similar to that of our forget me not (bluebird or myocities). It is tremendously sensitive delegate plants, but requires require a large area to flourish as well.

The vigorously growing neighboring plants would normally overgrow it and it would perish. Therefore it produces a toxin containing fluorine which is washed to the roots of the neighboring plants by the rain. The neighboring plants do not possess and enzyme able to decompose this toxins so that they all die. That is all expect for an insignificant looking little herbs which has developed the necessary enzyme and can thus survive. After a long period of rain, the site is inhibited by the particularly only the sensitive, poison producing killer plants and the little inconspicuous herb with its enzymatic antidote.
