I Have A Yahoo! Email Account. What Is The Purpose Of The 'Bulk' Folder?

Yahoo! have a feature known as 'SpamGuard', which you can choose to turn on or off. SpamGuard will send any spam emails to the Bulk folder.

The Bulk folder will store any emails which have been suspected as spam. Emails in the Bulk folder will be deleted after a certain amount of time.

It may be a good idea for you to check your Bulk folder every so often, just in case an important email has accidentally been sent there.

If an important email has been sent to your Bulk folder, then you can move it to your Inbox by checking the box next to the email, clicking on 'Move' and then 'Inbox'. Your email will be then be moved into your Inbox.

If you get fed up with emails being sent to the Bulk folder, then click on your Bulk folder. Next to where it says 'SpamGuard is ON', click 'Edit Settings'. You can then switch the SpamGuard off, so that emails won't be sent to your Bulk folder.
