What Television Stations Can You Get In Wales?

There are a few television stations that are available in Wales, the major ones being HTV, the S4C and BBC Wales network.
S4C, a Welsh public service channel uses the fourth channel to broadcast its programs and is the only public TV station that has Welsh-language programs. Other options include BSkyB (British Sky Broadcasting) which is the largest satellite programmer in Britain and NTL. In some areas on the West Coast, one can even receive television programs that are being broadcast from Ireland.

There are 3 public authorities that oversee British television and radio services. Apart from their accountability to Parliament, they are independent when it comes to the daily running of their business. These authorities are the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the Independent Television Commission (ITC) and lastly, the Radio Authority.
