How Do You Southern Bake Chicken?

This is a very easy recipe for baking chicken in the southern style. To prepare chicken as per this recipe you would need certain ingredients such as one medium sized chicken cut into pieces, a garlic onion flavoured soup mix, one chopped onion, pepper and salt to taste. First of preheat the oven at 425 degrees. Then take half of the soup mix and mix it with the chicken pieces along with the pepper and salt.

Now take a thin baking pan and add the chicken pieces and mix it with the chopped onion. Then bake the chicken for fifteen minutes. Take some more of the soup mix and pour it over the chicken and then bake for another 29 minutes. Now prepare the gravy as you usually do and add the rest of the soup mix into this gravy. Your southern baked chicken is ready.
