Where Is Argentina?

Argentina, the eighth largest nation in the world can be easily recognised on any map of the world. It is situated in the southern part of South America and is the second largest nation of the continent. The nation shares border with five of the Latin American countries namely Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay and Chile. The country has its claim on some overseas territories also and that include Falkland Islands, South Georgia and South Sandwich islands.

The capital of the country is Buenos Aires and its area is 2,780,400 square kilometers. The estimated population of the country in the year 2006 is 39,921,833. The country is vastly populated by the descendents of the people from Europe and in the Latin America it is the largest in the segment. Even the official language of the country is Spanish.
