How Do You Document Aggressive Pre-school Behaviour?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Aggression in preschool kids is quite common. Almost every child goes through this phase. It is a part of the child's development. There are no specific causes but one could be fear. The child may feel insecure around another youngster, so he uses his aggression by either hitting or screaming or throwing a fit of rage. The child may also behave the same way at home and get frustrated with things pretty soon. However, it does not mean that the child will grow up to be a rebel and terror to the society. He will eventually outgrow the aggressive behaviour. The key is to make the child realise about his actions sooner the better.

Immediate response is required for the child's actions. Being a little tough will prove better results. After the reprimanding for a while, talk it out to your child for him to cool down. Make the child responsible for his actions. If something is broken by the kid, make him reattach it. This will put a sense of responsibility in him. Make the kid feel sorry rather than just hearing it from him. Always award a good behaviour. This will induce him to behave well in front of others and treat others the right way. It will also reduce his temperament.
