How Do Goldfish Breathe?
I need to know how the gills of a goldfish help it to breathe. Also, how does the gill movement rate factor in? If the gills are moving faster, does that mean the fish needs more oxygen, or is it just agitated?

A stressed fish usually has rapid gill movement, and a fish will go to the surface with slow, but wide movement of gills to gasp for air.
