Both these processors have been designed to increase you processor’s efficiency and productivity. The difference is that the dual core processor has two processors and both have their own cache memory. This increases the processor speed in a way that it would be if there are two processors. And your dual core processor’s speed will be equivalent to the speed of two processors. The Core 2 duo is the kind of processor that enables you to do multitasking without having your computer’s speed slowed down. These processors are about 40% faster having more energy and a lot of efficiency.
