    The battle of Waterloo was fought between the French forces and the seventh coalition. The final result was that the seventh coalition forces defeated the French forces which were headed by Napoleon. It was fought near Waterloo in Belgium.  The seventh coalition included the armies from Prussia, United Kingdom, United Netherlands, Hanover, Nassau and Brunswick. Neapolitan lost 25000 soldiers at Waterloo and 800o soldiers were caught. The battle resulted in the decisive victory of the Seventh coalition over French forces and brought about the downfall of Napoleon.
