Where Was Des O'Connor Born?

Des O'Connor  was born on the 12th of January in the year 1932. He is one of Briatains most famous entertainers. Born in Stepney in London, he soon moved to Northhampton and tried his hand at football as well as horse riding for a while. His debut on Television was in a show titled 'Sunday Night at the London Palladium' after which he moved on to hosting one of TV's most watched comedy in the year 1961.

Desmond Bernard O'Connon also travelled with the very famous Buddy Holiday and also realeased a few singles of his own. Though tracks such as 'I  Pretend', 'Careless Hands' and 'Loneliness' became quite popular, some still criticcised his vocal skills. Presently, he hosts a show alongside Melani Sykes called 'Today with Des and Mel'.
