What Is Causing My Mild Acne?

There are different types of acne that can affect a person depending on different factors. The exact causes of Acne are not known. Acne vulgaris is acne that is seen during puberty and it believed to be caused by unstable levels of hormones such as the male hormone testosterone. Then there is Acne Rosacea which causes a flushed reddish appearance to the face and is believed to be a result of damage that results in the blood vessels of the affected region being left dilated; this is much more common amongst fair skinned women. There is Acne keloidalis nuchae which is caused by shaving. Acne cosmetica that as the name suggests is acne that is caused by some form of reaction to the use of cosmetics. Besides a few others there is also Acne Medicamentosa which is caused when a particular medication is discontinued.
