    Medway is a town situated in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Its population at the 2000 census was 12,448. It was first settled in 1657 but it was officially incorporated only in 1713.

    Medway is a town that is rich in culture and steeped in history. It has both a vibrant past as well as a promising future. Medway was on the main road that led to Europe. This meant that a lot of Romans, royals and writers settled or visited Medway and through the centuries left their mark. The famed novelist, Charles Dickens, loved Medway and wrote about it on more than a few occasions.

    Medway has something to offer everyone. It has maritime and military links, a Norman cathedral and castle and a beautiful composition of Georgian and Victorian architecture. It is very modern too, with great hotels and spas, places of leisure, sports facilities, theatres and halls. It has fascinating shops and it can accommodate anyone's taste or budget.
