    Canada is a country which is located in the north part of North America.

    The first Europeans to come to Canada were the Vikings. They reached Newfoundland in Canada. They reached Canada in the 15th century. In the 16th century, they expanded their reach into other parts of Canada. They explored the east coast of Canada.

    Some of the first known Europeans to explore Canada were John Cabot from England and Jacques Cartier from France.
