Hi there!  Yes, there are real jobs out there but you have to be careful about scams.  Generally if you have to pay to do it, it's not legit.

I do freelance work through oDesk (www.odesk.com) and I've had tremendous luck with them.  You don't have to pay anything to set up an account or apply for jobs, and the jobs aren't only located in one place.  You can find employers across the globe that are looking to outsource work.
