Princess A Chinese Dwarf Hamster Is Passing Blood From Her Vaginal Opening. There Is Not A Vet Around Here That Will Treat Hamsters. She Has Stopped Playing And Is Not Eating Much. Can Someone Offer Some Advise?
I can tell Princess is very ill. She's always been the feisty one of our two hamsters. They live in a glass aquarium with aspen bedding. I keep them clean and well fed. They are played with every day. Someone please offer me some hope that she'll pull through this.

Check the surrounding area of vagina to rule out the presence of any abscess or wound. If the bleeding is stopped then check the dry blood at vagina. If the dry blood is present and she is not bleeding more then don't worry. It is normal that female Dwarf Hamster may bleed once or twice in a year. If she is having continuous bleeding then it might be a UTI, in that case visit a Vet.
