What Does The Check Transaxle Warning Light Mean On A 2004 Ford Freestar?
Seems to shift OK but light has come on three times now. Car has 105,000 miles on it don't know if fluid has ever been changed.

Just called Ford and they told me that its a problem with the transmission. My car's light just came on and I noticed engine hesitation. Bummer!! I have a 2001 Ford Taurus with 134k miles.
