What Does The Term "Attic" Mean?

An attic basically is a section of a building, mainly a house, which is located directly under a roof. Since attics fill up the room amid the ceiling of the top floor of a structure and usually a slanted roof.

Attics are well known for being created in an awkward manner with bare rafters and hard to access corners. Nearly all the attics are hard to access on regular basis and are often used for storage purpose. Attics also help in maintain the temperature of a house, hot air which rises from bottom floors generally gets trapped in attics.
