Would You Be Buried Barefoot? Why Wouldn't You Be?
I just got back from my younger cousin's funeral but my mind wanders, and I got to thinking she looked so strange wearing stockings and heels in a coffin. Dress my body however you like, but I want my bare toes on that silk lining whether I can feel them or not. Get what you pay for.

You come in this world bare footed so you should depart from this world the same way. I don't have any will for this as I know these things do not matter at all. Your body will feel nothing at that time. Your body dies but your soul remains alive and that wanders in other worlds until you are rewarded with heaven or hell.

I would have no problem with that at all. What i do have a problem with is the ridiculous prices they charge for a basic funeral. My mum died 3 years ago and the basic package came to almost 3000 pounds sterling. As far as i am concerned they can bury me in the back garden if they want in my birthday suit.

I'd like to have on some socks because my feet always stays so cold! Of course I know it wont help ,but oh well.....

I would think you can be buried anyway you want to be, or however the person is paying for the funeral wants you to be.My husband wants to be buried wearing his regular clothes, no dress clothes for him.I will probably bury him in a pair of jeans and a Florida Gators tee shirt, if I out live him.
