You do not need to download any file for the removal of Microsoft Office 97. You can straight away remove it by opening 'Control Panel' in 'My Computer' and opening 'Add or Remove Programs'. Once there, you need to find the application in the list and highlight it. Once you highlight it, the 'Remove' button will appear and you will need to press that.

After pressing, you need to follow the instructions and the application will be removed.
