The sacraments of the Christian Church are baptism, communion, confirmation, marriage, ordination of ministers, absolution of sins and anointing of the sick.     Baptism and communion are called Gospel sacraments in that Jesus performed them as attested in the books of the Gospel.  The sacraments are considered outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace.

The sacrament of Baptism is not only receiving God and letting God into your life but also giving your all to God, as his servant and child.
