There seems to be a couple of reasons why there are no Seagulls in Hawaii. Hawaii is quite an isolated island from any other mainlands. Seabirds are found to be located on more mainland areas with large land masses. Seagulls seem to not be able to fly over large sea areas so they are needing to be situated near land. There have been some reports of sitings of gulls in Hawaii but they all seem to state that this is probably due to storms blowing them your way. Trust me you wont want to have them. I am from a place with many seagulls and they are a pest. Noisy things!

I love seagulls and they bring me alot of joy...the noise is great reminding me I am so lucky living by the sea and hearing the crashing waves...they are beautiful creatures .Now get a good cup of coffee sit back , take a big deep breathe and enjoy the morning living on the coast....La Buena Vida (the good life)
