Well it depends on how many generations humans have been here on earth. If you go by the first years of when Adam and Eve were first here, I guess it depends on when that was and your religious beliefs and what one believes. Most families can only go back to the 1400's if they are lucky. I haven't heard of too many others going back in genealogy further than that but it is possible. It just depends on how much people know about their ancestors and how long certain people lived in their families. I don't think anyone has an exact answer for this question. The answer may vary.
