Ko Tao, also known as Koh Tao or Turtle Island is a beautiful island in Thailand and just two hours from the mainland. The island is well known for scuba diving and snorkeling.
The weather in Koh Tao is good throughout the year. Rainy spell lasts from the month of November to mid December. From February to April it is hot and humid in Koh Tao. But from May onwards it starts cooling down. From July to September one can enjoy the lovely cool breeze from the west.
Most of the resorts and hotels will be completely booked from January to April and in July and August. Koh Tao is famous for the full moon party.
