How Old Does A Chick Have To Be Before It Is Out From Under The Light?

    Depending on breed most can come out when weather stays around 70 degrees I have 4- 6 week olds and they are at 70 now they start at 120 (i believe) hope this helps

      Start them out at 95 deg. Then lower each week 5 degrees and watch them. If they huddle
      increase temp. When you are at 75-80 at about 5 weeks bring them outside for an hour or 2
      providing the temperature is warm enough outside. In another week try leaving them out
      all the time and watch for huddling and if necessary add a lamp to their coop.
