    Newfoundland is considered to the first place discovered in the New World. It has a very rich history and a lot of attractions that would make you want to travel to Newfoundland. The oldest city in Newfoundland is St Johns. There are two national parks, one of which is called the Gros Morne National Park. This national park is located on the coast and has been named a world heritage site by UNESCO. It is spread across 1,805 square km or 697 square miles and is known for its scenic beauty. The other national park is Terra Nova National Park. Newfoundland also has a large hiking trail. This trail runs along the coast and is great fun to hike. There are small fishing villages at short distances on the trail, it is a great experience altogether.
