Where Is It Christmas Every Day?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There is an unusual shop in London called the Christmas Shop where it truly is Christmas every day. It was set up in 1988 by an Essex couple who were so enamoured with the festive season that they could not bear to experience it only once a year.

The shop is based at London Bridge, and is decorated complete with tree and carols the whole year round. The array of gifts sold range from stockings and mantelpiece decorations to tree decorations in a saucy Moulin Rouge style. Their goods are imported from all over the world and reflect traditional Christmas decorations, celebrations and values in a multicultural way.

The shop is successful in its sales all year round, particularly with the possibilities opened by the internet, but Christmas still remains its busiest time. The shop has become something of a tourist sight in London, with people travelling from all over the world to see the unusual sight.
